Our MMA classes combine partner drills, pad work and body weight exercises to not only get you fit but also teach the correct technique for all types of striking, clinching and takedowns. We also have a strong focus on striking evasion and grappling defence. This class does include light contact sparring, however, participation in the sparring component is entirely up to the individual. Boxing gloves and shin pads can be provided, however, we encourage students to bring their own gear for hygiene purposes. It is important to note that we are not training students to fight in sport MMA matches. These classes are very much aimed at the individual who is interested in learning MMA skills as a hobby and for self defence purposes.
**Students wishing to participate in sparring will need to have their own 16ounce gloves and shin pads after the trial period is over.
